This week ten more teams became bowl eligible, so there are now 58 total: USF, Houston, Tulsa, Temps, Navy, Memphis, UCF, Clemson, L'ville, UNC, VaTech, Wake, FSU, Pitt, GaTech, MiamiF, Baylor, WVU, Okla St, Okla, Mich, O$U, Neb, PSU, Minn, Wis, Iowa, MTSU, WKU, LaTech, ODU, BYU, WMU, Toledo, OHIO, EMU, Boise, SDSU, Wyoming, AFA, NM, Wash, Utah, Colo, Wash St, Stanford, USC, TxAM, Bama, FL, Auburn, Tenn, Ark, Georgia, LSU, Troy, App St, Idaho
17 teams need only one win for eligibility: SMU, NCSt, KState, TCU, Tex, MD, Ind, Nwern, SMiss, UTSA, CMU, Colo St, AZSt, Kentucky, SoCar, Miss, Ark St
So 75 teams are either eligible or need to win half or fewer of their remaining games to be eligible for one of the 80 bowl slots. That's up two from last week.
Here's the bowl picture by conference (does not include the six at large bids):
AAC (7 bowls): 7 in, 1 other, 8 total ACC/ND (12 bowls): 9 in, 1 other, 10 total Big 12 (7 bowls): 4 in, 3 others, 7 total Big 10 (8 bowls): 7 in, 3 others, 10 total CUSA (6 bowls): 4 in, 2 others, 6 total Indies (1 bowl): 1 in, 0 others, 1 total MAC (5 bowls): 4 in, 1 others, 5 total MWC (7 bowls): 5 in, 1 other, 6 total Pac 12 (7 bowls): 6 in, 1 other, 7 total SEC (10 bowls): 8 in, 3 others, 11 total Sun Belt (4 bowls): 3 in, 1 other, 4 total
In addition, Akron and Fiami are 5-6 and could get in by winning their last games.
We will get by. We will get by. We will get by. We will survive.
