If his speed checks out. High 4.4's or 4.5 flat

Smith will be a mid rounds steal. Cant teach the things he can do I said that once our QBs put any catchable balls on him we could win the game. Greg Windham came in and did just that and got Maxwell on notice too.

Get this man the ball, watch magic happen.

He was the best receiver on the field IMHO the last time we played a SEC school.

He and Basham sould be combine locks. I think Casey Sayle and Blair Brown will get great looks as well

We always struggle when Sebastian doesn't get the ball. He should be targeted at least a dozen times a game.

If Blair deserves a look at the next level, Poling does as well. Beasts, both of them. I will say that our secondary needs improvement. I think the staff puts athletes out there before football players. And I do understand it is because you do need speed there, but when being out of position and getting burned over and over and over continues.... geez, these guys need some talking to... I was there yesterday at Toledo and I didn't see anyone talking to the secondary after two of the TDs... no one. These guys may be freak athletes back there, but damn, they could use some lessons on coverage and positioning. And being out of position will kill you no matter how athletic you are. In short, these guys need coached up and things will be OK, but they sometimes act like they do not know where to be out there. I think Toran Davis is a technician and smart. And he is also not a showboat. I like him and what he does a lot. But the others.... exceptional athletes, all of them... football players? Maybe. Technician and knowledgeable about where to be ? not yet so much. And please do not defend them being out of position by saying they are young. Really ?

Most definitely, I was referring to 2017. The announcers said scouts at the game for Basham were looking at Brown as well. They said Brown was a little undersized, but plays fast and is disruptive. QP probably has the highest ceiling.

Well definitely wont defend them, heck, may even agree with you. However, I will still say that they are young and still learning....... I love Toran Davis...He is an exceptional leader, and lets not forget a SENIOR. He is definitely where he should be at this point in his career. As far as SHOW BOATING" as you put it, there is nothing wrong with having passion out there. I, for one, appreciate the fact that they love making the plays. I heard the commentators say, as I watched it from my TV "they players love the inspiration and drive of some of the younger players" Everyone is not going to be satisfied, and as I'm noticing with some one you fair weather fans "EVER" but I'll keep supporting these young men til the end.....SHOW BOATING OR NOT...Someone thought they were football players, to the fact that they offered to pay for their education. We have players..."young players" who received offers from ACC and SEC schools....SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, somebody thought they were football players. If you have an issue, address the Coaches, maybe they need to do a little more Coaching....but how dare you down talk young men trying to go out their and make something happen....rather its to your liking or not....

Did Sebastian and Roger Lewis play together at Pick Central? Same class or 1 year apart? One is in the league, and the other has a shot.

Sebastian knows how to create space for balls thrown his way. Here's hoping he doesn't get a flag for creating that space.

I would say our linebackers are all too short for the NFL . Not taking away anything from there playing ability but they probably Do not pass the size metrics.

Not true. Jatavius Brown (All Mac 2015 LB from Akron) is wrecking shop in the league at 5'11" 240 for San Diego. Its about your competition on tape in college against the big boys (P5). You put up Sebastian numbers up at Tennessee; scouts take notice.

Poling should get drafted if his time checks out. He has great instincts and can easily carry 5-10 pounds more

You can always find ONE exception to the rule but I still think they are a bit small by NFL standards.

Uhhhh... I wasn't talking DOWN to anyone. Read what I wrote. If you look at my quote, I said "they need coached up and things will be ok." And as far as you saying "How dare you....". Cmon guy. My point was simply this... Toran is the best. I love him. The others need much improvement and some of them could learn A LOT from Toran. Both from a coverage/positioning standpoint AND composure. If you think it OK to be wildly enthusiastic about the receiver dropping the ball after he beat you, that's fine. That's your opinion. Do you think they should act like they are the best DBs ever born? If you are ok with it, fine, it's your opinion. My opinion is simply, have a level head like Toran. Emulate Toran's demeanor. It will serve you well, young fellas. But if you always get as you say "passionate" about little things that are not important, it will not serve you well and you might get blazed for 450 passing yards including a 98 yard passing touchdown. So I am not talking down to anyone. And your comment about "address the coaches ?" Really? You're being a little bit defensive. If these young boys would just copy from the senior who exudes CLASS, they will be better for it.

And as far as the NFL Draft and everyone's comments about it, these are my rankings:

1. Smith
3. Brown/Poling
4. Basham

Never defensive my friend. If you read my status, I said " I love Toran Davis" I had the pleasure of meeting him in Tennessee. He is a class act. He raved about the young guys to me....so while you are definitely entitled to your opinion, I'll state mine. He is a leader, that unlike yourself recognizes potential talent. I watched Thursday night game again, and noticed there were about 3 players behind this guy on the 98 Yard touchdown........ so miss me with all of that. As a matter of fact, why don't you suit up and show us what you can do..... Nobody starts off on top, they develop.....you're downing young men who have never played college ball.....So yeah, how dare you..No, not even pros should act like they're the best ever, but just because someone celebrates, doesn't mean they're not humble......# Who are you to judge emotion....it's just funny, their Senior doesn't have a problem with them.

Why in the heck would a class act like Toran ever tell YOU that he had a problem with anything on the team? That makes zero sense guy. And your comment about them being humble? Ok Mr. Insider, if you say so. But I say act more like Toran, he is a great player and visibly composed. You are not, obviously. And to ask me to suit up? Really? Who said anyone starts off on top? Not me. I said don't act like you are the greatest if the receiver you are covering just burned you but dropped the ball. I'm not sure if anyone would argue with me on that comment. Hey, you just got burned and you just got lucky cuz he dropped the ball.... so hey, don't celebrate. Just go back to the huddle like Toran would without celebrating. Now, if you make a one handed interception, please celebrate and pump your fist and dance too, if you want to...

Said Nobody.......and you need to take notes from Toran Davis and be a Class Act, instead of a Class A** and stop singling out players. You never know who's reading this stuff guy. Yes, you have your opinion, but clearly you have no class....Enjoy your day "Mr Class Act".... I don't argue with fools....

You are a fool. I singled out one man. Toran. I said he is a class act. Not one other person was mentioned. You said you never knows who is reading this stuff ? It would be great if all your inside friends would read it. They could read this... "act like Toran."
