The local channel that carries ASN in Cincinnati always has a non-HD look to it so I don't think it's ASN.

Is this going to be another MAC East beats MAC West game?

Glad we got Fiami when we did. A win here puts them 3-1 since we beat them.

I tried to tell people at the time we played them that they were not a bad team, and that it was a good win. Miami, despite losing to both Akron and Ohio, is not out of the running for the MAC East championship. They do not play WMU, Toledo, or NIU this year. Their remaining games, Buffalo, CMU, and Ball State are all winnable, in which case they could end up 6-2. That would force Ohio to go 2-1 over the last three games.

Miami has their best quarterback back in action and they are playing well. We got them at the right time!

Which means that L.C. is wrong as we beat redhawk when they had (as I recall) their 3rd string qb in and he had very little experience--so we didn't beat redhawk when they were good.

No need to thank me.

DFC--Were you actually trying to watch a redhawk game that was not against OHIO? There is medical science which can cure that. Such as a good slap in face.

The best part of Miami's team is their defense. Even W. Kentucky's high powered offense didn't score much against them. Yes, they lost their first 5 games, but none of them by much. When we played them, they were not the abysmally bad team that we have all come to love.

As for Quarterbacks, they started the season with Bahl, who played until he was injured against Ohio. Wezensky played the rest of the Ohio game, and then the next game. They they turned to Ragland, who I think was their third string QB. He played some against Ohio last year, but was definitely behind Bahl a year ago.

It's my impression that all three quarterbacks are fairly close, and that the biggest difference in Miami now is that they are learning how to win. From that standpoint they may be more dangerous today than they were when Ohio played them. Nevertheless, I stand by my statement that it was a good win at the time, and that Miami was never "extremely bad", as most people portrayed them when they were 0-5.

I do find it most odd, even outrageously humorous, that Monroe would play the "Miami was worse when we played them because of injuries" card.
