Closing down as of Sunday.

One less (big) reason to travel to BG for an away game.

Campus Polleyes is still an outstanding place for pregaming. I only made to Myles once. My (fuzzy) memory says it was what a pizza pub is supposed to be.

Poor, SBH.

First Big Red Tomato closes in Athens. Now Myles is closing.
At least SBH still has Rotolo's in Grandview.

Shouldn't this have been TOS to Myle's Pizza Pub?

I might have spent 5 years (I bogeyed college)in a fuzzy state while at BG but I still know it as Pagliai's Pizza :) If you saved 10 pizza box tabs you could get a free pizza. But you had to walk uptown to get it in 1971.

Joe McKinley and Pete Chouteau introduced me to this place. Been there a few times and enjoyed it.

Is this the place where Chris Jans got busted?

That stinks. It was very good.

I'm guessing they'll be pretty busy on Sunday.

Read this on the Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba message board:

"Went past Myle's today at 1:00. About 500-600 people waiting outside. They were lined up from the door, down the side of the building, past Kinko's to Clough St, then across the tracks and up through the DQ parking lot."
