Solich has been building on his physical style of football. Our O-line and D-Line are solid. We don't have to play perfect football to win against Tennessess just smart football. There are 5-6 school that we have to play perfect football to beat. Last year when we play Minnesota, I knew if it were close because before the game, the coaches praised Minnesota and said we would have to play perfect football to win. When it got close in the end our players doubted themselves. This time Solich, said we come into every game looking and believing we can win. We can win, we could be up a couple touchdowns if we played football. Tennessee is not a great passing team, hence they play to our strength, the D-line gets to show their dominance and our LB's get to flash their talent. Go Bobcats and medi's expand your mind. If we are able to get an elite QB and devise better schemes, we can win these games consistently.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Our defensive line played better today than I think I've seen in years. This is my 20th season as an Ohio Bobcat, and the most common refrain I think I've heard over those years... other than, maybe, that our offense "lacked creativity" — and that's only in the post-Grobe era — is that our defensive line has always failed to put pressure on the opposing backfield. Today, I saw our guys back there almost every play. It was incredible to see them getting past SEC offensive linemen.

If they can manage to do what they did today against the MAC schedule, I don't see how anyone can stop us. (That's asking a lot, but...)

+1
The defensive line is not only good, it's deep. Sayles, Strobel, Porter, Aloese, and Berger plug up the middle, while Basham, Laseak, Smart, and Robbins man the ends. I'm not sure where Chukwu is playing, but he's in the mix, too.

Basham looked like an NFL player today. Top 3 rounds for sure if he can keep this up..one bad play he should have sat down on that QB sneak for the TD other than that he was wrecking

How about the TN qb sucks, missed 2 easy touchdowns which could have changed the game quite a bit. Ohio did play well and made us proud, Windham is a really good qb and I wish he could play another year.

We kicked four field goals, we score two td's and we win
