Today's PD included a surprise - a pleasant one. I am referring to the space given to Ohio's win. The story runs 16 column inches. Accompanying it are two photos. One is 5 columns wide and 7 inches deep and shows four Ohio defenders swarming a Kansas running back. The other is 4 columns wide and 5 inches deep and shows Windham scoring a TD. All in all, the coverage consumes about 70% of the page.

Uh, no, the story wasn't written by Elton. Authored by an AP reporter.
