ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio Football is back and so is the Ohio IMG Sports Network's coverage of the Bobcats in 2016.

The first network broadcast comes on Monday night with the "Frank Solich Show" from Broney's in uptown Athens. The hour-long show starts at 6pm with 11 episodes scheduled throughout the season. Ohio players and other Bobcat coaches will make appearances. Fans are encouraged to attend or call in (866-993-2555).

Power 105 (WXTQ-105.5 FM) in Athens is back as the flagship of the 16 station network with a coverage area that extends into Kentucky and West Virginia. Fans in Columbus can once again tune-in to WYTS-1230 AM. On game day, WAOL-99.5 FM extends into the Cincinnati area. Ironton's WOUL-89.1 FM reaches into Huntington, W.V. and Ashland, Ky.

Via the partnership with TuneIn, fans worldwide can listen to all games and shows for free by downloading the TuneIn app. The broadcasts are also available online at OhioBobcats.com and Tunein.com/OhioBobcats.

Bobcat Sports Today debuts for 2016-17 on Monday on many network stations. The BST is a daily sportscast covering Ohio Athletics. The game broadcasts begin an hour before kickoff with a comprehensive pregame show. Many pre-produced features will be tweeted out in advance of game day.

Russ Eisenstein (@RussEisenstein) returns for his ninth season as the "Voice of the Bobcats". While in Athens, he's called some of the greatest moments in Ohio history: the school's two bowl victories, the win over Georgetown in the 2010 NCAA Tournament and the run to the 2012 Sweet 16.  In addition to the radio work, he's the face of Bobcat TV.  His broadcast experience includes TV shows, talk shows, high school coverage, minor league baseball and two seasons in the NBA.

Eisenstein is once again joined network analyst, Rob Cornelius (@Robcwv). The Ohio alumnus has been involved with the broadcasts for the better part of two decades. Together, they have become a trusted duo for Bobcat fans everywhere. Their unique "infotainment" style helps bring the game to life.

"Our goal is to broadcast at the highest level possible," Eisenstein said. "Every time we're on the air we want to inform and entertain.  Fan's trust in us is something we don't take lightly. Rob and I have blended our talents together for a product we hope everyone can be proud of. We're excited for 2016!"

They need to have an affiliate in Cinci and Cleveland. I've been thinking this for years.

Derek Scott used to, and as late as 2008 we had radio affiliates in Nelsonville, Columbus, Chillicothe, Cambridge, Huntington, Jackson, Vienna WV, Marietta, Ironton, Athens, Middleport. This has went downhill ever since.

No Emmy, but, the ratings are very good, network (MAC) leading viewership (MAC leader in attendance) keeps increasing. Are all those viewers wrong?

Didn't Derek Scott begin every game with something like "from the banks of the Ohio River to the shores of Lake Erie"? Or something like that? I assumed that was due to having coverage in NE Ohio.

We've had most of your listed areas covered for a few years now, I think.

I listened to a lot of games on Power 105 in school and he always started with that line!

Also, the "Cincinnati" station is actually based out of Brown County (Ripley). I live in Ross Township (Butler County) about 20 minutes from the Indiana line-tuned it in tonight and I got the station clear and crisp in my truck parked in the garage!

Used to only get to listen to games against Miami and had to endure their radio team. Not any more! Thanks for coming on board Max 99.5!

Wow, that's a really strong signal. I live in the Little Miami area, so that should be no problem for me.
