Another error: "Muncie is famous for its mason jars". His ignorance in this case is perhaps forgivable, but the Ball jars were direct competition to the Mason jars...I remember seeing both brands as a kid. The company that made Ball jars ultimately became Ball Aerospace, and its founder's name graces Ball State University.
