These young men deserve better.

I think our coaches have elevated themselves given the press the program has received in the past several years based on the press clippings.

Yes we are better than the doormat we have been for a long time. Yet we continue to be a mid-season J-O-K-E when it counts. We are a “get well card” for all mid-level MAC Schools that need to right the ship.

I won’t call out players. That said, look around the league and you can see where we are not up to par. Some of it could be on the scheme.

Take all these mid-season meltdowns and add to that our own coaching staff let their kids go to other programs during a time in our history when it means the most. Yes – I said it.

We will most likely get dominated by BG. What happens from there really doesn’t matter. If we make it to one of the 900 bowl games, who cares? No MAC Title again.

I sure hope Kaminski is healthy for hoops season. Back to the future.

When teams are playing eight in the box and sitting on routes, you have to throw the ball deep, short passes play right into the defenses hand and we are continuing to throw short passes. We have to make adjustments. The team also could benefit from tackle drills. Go Cats

The O line could use some tackle drills, too. On the first pick 6 Troy Watson tried to "tackle" Williamson with a shoulder. That really worked.

They must chest bump in practice.

What gets me is that we're not even SHOWING anything different from game to game. No reverses, no flea flickers, no trick plays of any kind. Blander than vanilla. 48 yds rushing vs Akron; 99 vs WMU; 54 today. If we're not even going to TRY something different when things aren't working, then yes, it's time to shake things up.

Everything here. It's all true. Good to see others sharing the frustration and not trying to sugarcoat things. This program has flatlined. 7th best in the MAC and the coaches seem fine with it.

Totally unacceptable.

We are and will continue to look up at NIU, Toledo, BG, WMU, CMU and Ball State.

Anyone who disagrees is delusional. I beg you to give me a reason.

44 add buffalo to that list. We are now officially in the bottom third.

One request, if you are not accepting of the current results and really want change, call for it based upon that. Many are feeling the need to make personal attacks on good well meaning people who have devoted years of their lives and are truly dedicated to Ohio. If you need more wins, that is enough, no need for the personal attacks.

Tale of two halves and two games.

Toledo, down 28-10 at half, scores 38 straight at one point and beats UMass 51-35.

Ohio, down 31-10, doesn't do much other than block a FG and score afterwards. Lose 41-17.

There's just not enough firepower offensively to come back from these type of deficits.

It's the offense and always has been.

Maybe GE Smith was playing so loud tonight that I'm seeing double but I think not. Your posts are as predictable as our play calling. Neither is productive or entertaining right now.

One thing else before I go to bed. Our coaches seem to miss a lot of little things. Today it was the "catch" that was ultimately overturned on review because we lollygagged getting the next play off. If you have a questionable call go your way on offense, you hurry to the line and quickly snap the ball before it can be reviewed. As I recall, instead of getting a first down we wound up having to punt.
