This is clearly the best team we have played and we got shredded. This wasn't our usual bed-shi##ing against a bad team.

Our offense clearly has not progressed... AT ALL.

What the hell we thought we were trying to prove by chucking the ball all over early is beyond me. not even attempting to test the soft underbelly of wmu's d. bad game plan, worse execution.

I told my wife on the way to Athens that I thought we would have trouble. This is the usual point in the year where we lay an egg. My son commented that the team looked like they just did not care when they came out for the second half.

Yeah I agree. Only down by 7 we came out like we were down by 50. Me and my friends joked we looked hungover. But let's face it we were bound to have a let down. Almost every team does. It's how we respond that determines the season. That's why I say take a chill pill because if our leaders and coaches rally the team and motivate them we can still win the MAC. If not then yes we can complain and get upset. But let's give them the chance to respond until we go crazy and post dumb stuff

This is getting 59-0 (or whatever it was) a couple of years ago against BG-like.

C'mon. Coaching staff has been here 11 years. Injuries. And we held Akron and Miami without a TD.

This team quit at home while in first place. I don't this we have the mental toughness to beat BU and BGSU on the road after how this team rolled over so easily at home today.

Everybody chill we will still finish third in the MAC East, the program has came a long way. Nobody wants to hear this crap anymore.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

I'm sure those from other fanbases are getting a good chuckle at some of the posts here today, as we do when we go their boards after they lose. Fact is, we knew WMU is a very good team and it would be tough holding them in. What I saw wasn't so much quit from our guys as it was WMU's O line coming out in the second half bent on controlling the game. Either Fleck or themselves or both did some ass-chewing at halftime and lit em up. They were inspired and we weren't.

Buffalo ain't WMU, and unless McCabe is reffing next week we should be able to take them. I think our D will take today's game to heart and come out firing next week.

We will get by.
We will get by.
We will get by.
We will survive.

WMU is nothing, we said the same thing about Minnesota. We get trounced every year in the middle of the season. We shouldn't lose to Ohio State 49-14 yet alone WMU. Let kick the loser mindset and expect more.

Seems you don't know football. WMU is a darn good team. Losses to who? Ohio State and Mich. St., ranked #1 and #6 and a 4-1 Georgia Southern team. They have some explosive guys on offense. Funny that 90% of the posters today have given WMU no credit for how well they played.

And for those who missed it we lost Wells, White and Poling in the 1st half. Our depth, or lack thereof, showed thereafter.

And I guess a lot of you seem to think this is a 1 game season. Last I looked we play 12 games. We got beat. They regroup and move on. And it's a damn game, not life or death.

In fact, today's game, though it may have been typical of years past, was a good loss, then.

wait for it. Here it comes....

Should we take said pill with the same green Kool Aid we are asked to guzzle when this happens every single year?

Good team lose occasionally. Good teams don't lose at home to a conference foe by a margin not seen in Peden since 1990. Knorr never had a home loss this bad.

So the season ended today Monroe? I thought we had 5 more games. I guess you're writing those off as of today.

Yes we should. "Good teams lose occasionally". We could easily win out go 10-2 and this game would mean what? We would be a good team that had 1 bad game. Let's wait to see how the year pans out before we lose our minds. If we lose big in some of the next couple games. Then yes we should be mad. Until then take a chill pill and let it play out. It's 1 loss.

#BringBackKnorr

We didn't quit. When somebody says our team "didn't want it" or "quit at home" you know they never laced it up. As Scarlet once said "Tomorrow is another day".

Really

WMU will not win the MAC, so you can crown them if you want to. I know that we do this every year and then fans like you come with false logic because other fans tell the truth. WMU should not blow out Ohio. They lost to Georgia Southern who got blown by WVU and WVU is having a down year and then Georgia Southern blew out your heroes 43-17. So you don't know football and you do don't know me. Control your emotions so that truth does not elude you. Excuses, excuses never made anybody better.

1991 was my Freshman year and my first game in Peden. I have attended every single home game since then. Today was the highest margin of defeat I've ever seen in Athens. That game was 31-0, even though it felt like 131-0.
