That defense quit on Solich today.

Frank needs to run those fat asses all dame nite after the game up and down the steps because they quit on him this game. 400 yards giving up on the ground. No one on that defense deserved to wear an Ohio jersey. No more black jersey again. They look stupid and the team quit today. God awful 400 f-ing yards giving up on the group. THEY ABSOLUTE QUIT out there today.

Nobody quit they got beat. Players were not walking or loathing WMU OL was dominating our DL did u even watch the game? Plus the damn Def Coord is the one who calls the defense NOT the players.

They need to hit in practice and yes they need to run. This was an embarrassing performance, they were feeling themselves and got gashed.
They kept the last two teams out of the end zone and started reading the press clippings. The coaches have to keep them grounded.

They gave up 400 yards rushing .....yes they the quit, didn't show up or let up whatever they call it. Western Michigan isn't that good. We didn't show up in that second half period.

Our fans can't handle the truth. We could lose 77-0 to Eastern Michigan and they would say well Eastern only lost to LSU by two touchdowns and so and so was injured. That's how we roll.

And the coaches have said ALL week WMU is a very good team and our team is LOADED with injuries.

He said they quit and it hurt my feelings. Nobody can say anything negative. No coach has ever in history has said his team gave up after giving up over 350 rushing yards in the second half, plus we lost three guys. Stop guys, your hurting me. Vince Lombardi would have never said anything like that.

Poling get knocked out of the game, Blair and Jovon miss time because of injuries, Wells gets ejected... I guess we just pretend that those losses didn't impact the game?

I would say it was a good old fashioned butt kicking. I have been on both sides of such games without either side quitting. Further, I am not sure what defense you might call when Davis & Braverman are clicking with Terrell and their OL can own the line of scrimmage for Franklin. Quitting, no. A butt kicking, yes, and what does not kill us makes us stronger. I am sure there are some Ohio players who are already making plans for Buffalo next week.

We don't know what is in their hearts, but when you see arm tackling and the announcer say in the second half it looks like they are running against nobody. It is not unreasonable to believe somebody through the towel in. Football is a tough sport. We will have players and if they play for a coach like Bruce Arians, they will hear much worse.

Yes, there were times in 2013 that it looked like the quit. Lack of confidence, shell shocked, or panicked might be more appropriate.

Minnesota is a mid to low level Big Ten team. I don't think the WMU is much if any better than them though. There was more going on today than playing the best team so far. They just did not play very well today at all in so many ways.

Ike a chuckle), I spend all off season watching the same people profess all this depth that we have and how talented we are across the board. Then we get a couple injuries and then it's all woe is us and excuse city.

However we go from holding Western to 25yds rushing in the first half and then 400+ in the 2nd half, that's NOT injuries!

Agree with you BTC. Also, their line of thinking would lead to the next logical question and that would be, are the remaining 81 scholarship players really that bad? In other words, I realize that the players mentioned are great players but does that mean we have nothing else? If so, that falls on the coaching staff because we are now in year 11 of this regime and every player on the team was recruited by, picked by, chosen by, prepared by, trained by and coach by this staff exclusively.

Only a COMPLETE MORON would make the comment that this Ohio team has quit on anything football or Coach Solich because the TEAM PERFORMED Poorly. They did not execute as well on OFFENSE OR DEFENSE does not mean they F%&^ing QUIT. For the couple of complete clowns who said that were you in Peden in the coaches office and meeting rooms all afternoon and into the late night as coaches were?? Were you getting treatment right after the game and into the evening as the players were. Get your idiot comments off the Ohio Bobcat board and spit that trash on a Buckeye State board will you. I know the coaches and a few players PERSONALLY and have worked with this program for several years no one quit on Coach Solich and as a matter of fact they all LOVE The man and being here at Ohio. But you dont even realize that players are not even THAT involved with Coach instead its their position coaches and coordinators whom they have a more business like relationship with. They didnt handle business Saturday and WMU did that is all but when you call out people as quitter you better know what the heck your talking about. The team was getting ready for Buffalo as soon as you started typing your BS comments Sunday evening what were you doing to help Ohio Football?

I swear this board has gone to **** in the last few years. The one thing I did like about it was that it WAS different than Bucknuts or any of those other major college boards was that fans actually understood there was a line that you did not cross. This board is officially trash material now and it only takes a couple of idiots who have never donated money or time to the University to ruin it for the people that do. Frigging Keyboard Warrior OUbobcatjohn calling kids "fatasses" while sitting on his dirty couch more than likely in the Plains.
