Carpenter's groin injury does not sound good. He's had that problem for several years now.

And you add that with a severely banged up LB corps...yikes. This will need to be a gutty effort today to keep the season afloat. Get a W, get outta Buffalo, get some rest and hopefully get healthy for the mammoth at BG in November

I find this quote from his article interesting. Just a passing reference to a conference championship with the emphasis on being a .500 team. I'm beginning to see what Monroe and some others are talking about.

What’s at stake: With a win Ohio would be bowl eligible (6 wins) for the seven straight season and the ninth time in the last 10 seasons. The Bobcats also need a win to stay within striking distance of MAC East leading Bowling Green (3-0 MAC). The Bulls have dropped three in a row and a fourth straight would all but end Buffalo’s hopes of a bowl this season.
