The final drive was a thing of beauty. Reminded me of the Coppage and company drives from seasons past. Sprague had time to throw and there was space for our running backs. It is a wonderful strength for an offense to take ownership of the game with an 85 yard drive.
Keep it going guys!

Though I'm not the most astute observer of work in the trenches, it was clear even to me that a big difference between this year's offense and last year's was the work of the OL. On nearly every play the OL had a huge push and opened up room for our RBs. [There was also good blocking on the perimeter for WRs and others.] I noticed the same thing in the Idaho game, but didn't know if it was just the weak opponent or a real indication of improvement in our OL. Marshall's defense is much more solid and to see us do the same thing against them was most pleasing to the eyes of this fan. I'm cautiously optimistic that with further improvement OHIO might just give Minnesota a run for their money. I'll be going to the Minneapolis both for the game, and as a little family reunion. I have more than a dozen first cousins on my mother's side who reside in the twin cities. On Sunday after the game we are having a "cousins party." It should be a fun weekend, that'll be even "funner" with Bobcat win.

Only playing six guys right now as well. They are off to a solid start. Experienced group.

They obviously are trying to redshirt Pruehs, who started every game last year. I think that's great, and I hope they are able to. I'm looking forward to seeing him as a three year starter at Center.

Wonder if they are having to contain his energy during practice for the sake of his teammates?

Arkley reported #60 McCray as out for Marshall though I think I saw him in an image dressed in full pads from the post game celebration. Might they reshirt him also?

Wood re-injured his shoulder. If it's serious, I'm guessing he's out at least for the year, and he might have to give it up.

I hope he is OK. They play with what amounts to 7 in the box. Looked like a very physical game in the trenches. We took what they gave us. Man to man on our quicker wide outs was a mistake on their part.

Players I have especially enjoyed supporting are Patterson, Russell and Wood. I am saddened by what Russell, Wood and others have gone through. I think some forget this and for me this is why the players will only & forever have my support.

If Wood is out, and Preuhs isn't redshirted, I'm guessing he's back to being the starter at RG?

Very sad to hear about Woods. Re-occurring injuries are the worst.

Any news on Lowery or McCray? It'd be nice if they could play for Minnesota.

I've seen crazier things happen.

Preuhs definitely played Saturday, probably as a result of the injuries, so I'm sure the hope of redshirting him did not work out. I think he was playing in place of Wood, so I think you're right about him starting this week.

I thought they put Preuhs in at C instead of RG, which is what confuses me about this theory. Was Powell hurt too?

I think Gibbons came in at RG, and he wasn't on the 2 deep.

My suspicion is that when Wood was hurt, the coaches decided they needed Preuhs as RG, and that he would no longer redshirt. Thus, when the decision was made to put in the backup line, they went ahead and put him at Center. In line with that thinking, I expect to see him starting at RG, and occasionally playing as the backup center.

Are we referring to his brief stint in the Marshall game? I was wondering since he played less than a quarter is his redshirt still on? As long as he doesn't play any more is he still on that plan?
I have no idea just speculating.
