So, no webcast this week, except for people that have the Big Ten Network, and who therefore don't need a webcast because they can watch it on cable?

There's Watch BTN: http://www.btn2go.com/schedule

Win this one and we're 4-0 for the first time since '12.

Also, we haven't yet trailed in a game this season. That streak is likely to end Saturday, but if it doesn't it'll match the four-game streak we had in '13 (lost L'ville; won the next four without trailing once). The current streak is the longest to start a season since ??????.

Just as an FYI, I found this Minnesota football forum that has quite a bit of traffic as well.

That one seems to be the busiest by far. There definitely are some fans unhappy with the Minnesota offense. I was laughing reading their score predictions, which included a lot of 2-0, 4-2, even one 6-0 (all safeties) predictions, and a variety of other silly scores. Maybe they've heard that it's easy to get safeties on Ohio, and that you can even get them as far out as the 4 yard line?

These guys are B1G. Literally. The O-line has all 300+ guys except for the starting center. The QB is 6'4", 237. Williams is a load at TB. Just big boys all over.

They don't like each other much.

Some of those threads remind me of this board. Numerous threads questioning their head coach Jerry Kill. They also have a thread that is titled "____ is not a D1 offensive coordinator" and an identical thread "____ is not a D1 quarterback" with the blank being their guys. Threads talking about how boring the offense is.

I'm not going to explain our board meme "____ up the middle" or a Minnesota fan reading this thread might steal that for themselves.

I've seen crazier things happen.

A 3:30 start time...is that our time or theirs?

Bobcat Bash? Any news about there being one? I went to a few last year and thought they were very well done.

I can't seem to find information anywhere about a "Bobcat Bash" in Minnesota...would like to know where you signed up? No travel thread on here yet either. I'm just trying to make some plans before we make the trip. Very excited abut this one...never flew to attend a game before. Go Bobcats!!

Luckily our hotel is in easy walking distance of the stadium. ;-)

Minnesota has the #1 rated Pass defense in the country according to Phil Steele:
http://www.philsteele.com/fbsinfo/2015/15passeffD.html

They are #7 in pass efficiency defense, per the NCAA
http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/team/40
(Ohio isn't bad, at #37)

Meanwhile Vick is #7 in the country in Pass efficiency
http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/individual/8

Some comparative stats:
Total Defense:
Minnesota 301.7, 4.15 yards/play, 16.7 points/game
Ohio 327.3, 4.77 yards/play, 17.3 points/game

Total Offense:
Minnesota 347.4, 4.51 yards/play, 16.7 points/game (59% passing, 41% rushing)
Ohio 443.7, 6.65 yards/play, 33.7 points/game (59% passing, 41% rushing)

The primary difference seems to be the "explosive" pass plays that Ohio has had. Those have boosted Ohio's pass efficiency and yards/pay, as well as points/game significantly. Can Ohio get any of those against Minnesota's vaunted pass defense?

Yet there are ironic differences as well. I had to smile when I saw people suggest that to run the ball better they needed to go away from two tight ends, and use more WR to spread the field, and keep other teams from stacking defenders in the box, as opposed to what we see here, people suggesting that Ohio stop using so many WR, and instead put in more TE.

Hi guys Gopher fan here. I hope everyone making the trip stays safe and has a great time, I'm more than sure you'll be treated well by Gopher fans. Still 4 days out but the weather looks like it will be gorgeous, it should be a beautiful day to be on our campus. If anyone has questions about the area, bars, etc just ask.

George, you got quite an itinerary for the weekend with the pro games, too. Who's gonna coach soccer while you're gone, though?
