Gave up 450 yards of offense to the opponent. Six fumbles and only one recovery. Nine penalties. Bottom line, defense still isn't playing good enough to win and MACC. Team must be much more disciplined.

In other stats that count: Akron holds Cajun's and shows a potent offence. Kent finds an offense and other than a TD on a kickoff for Marshall would have beaten the Turd in regulation.

Some pre-season predictions of W's during these two will be nowhere near as easy as some on here had predicted a few weeks ago.
