Dude is at Brinker levels of respect from me. Gets hurt, comes back, gets hurt, comes back. Makes play after play after play, game after game after game.

So glad he got to come back for one more year.

Brinker level, I like that. He is putting up some NFL prospect stats. He is a turnover machine.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Great game Nathan Carpenter! MAC Defensive player of the week in my book. The entire defense and the coaching staff deserve a pat on the back for this one.

Go Bobcats!

Did he play in 6 games versus Marshall, or just 5? How many of those did he get turnovers in?

I could see him in a grad assistant type roll with Ohio depending in what his future goals are.

You'd have to think that's some sort of obscure record. Even in 120 years of college football, I wouldn't think that any other player was ever involved in turnovers against the same foe in 5 different years. Few even play against the same foe 5 times, and to have a turnover in all of them....

I think Nate's brother George is still associated with The Marshall program after a distinguished career as a player.
Last season he was involved in their fitness and weight training programs.

The Carpenters are a great football family! Nate's parents are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
