25 K paid, parking and other revenue such as programs, concessions.Advertising in game and display advertising. Anyone have an idea if total revenue is 7 figures?

Not talking profit but total take. Leaving out TV broadcast money.

First of all, 25K don't pay. For those that do, the vast majority pay less than $15 a ticket and for all obc members who are season ticket holders, parking is free. It takes a ton of $3 - $5 concessions to even make $50,000. Yes, there is a great deal of money that changes hands this Saturday night.

Haven't you been pretty adamant that while students aren't paying for tickets directly, they are paying for tickets through student fees?
Similar argument for the "free" parking. Wouldn't the donation to the OBC be part of "paying" for parking?

Seems pretty messy from an accounting standpoint. From an economic standpoint, it definitely seems like a ton of money.

I've seen crazier things happen.

As for accounting, with 6 free parking passes which are worth $5 each, the per game cost of my tickets drops to $8.33 per game - one heck of a deal.

Parking in the green lot is a tad more expensive. I originally bought into it many years ago so that my late wife could continue enjoying game days. I continue buying and consider the cost a donation more than a parking fee. Should that fee be regarded as part of game day receipts? Either way is fine with me.

Unless you have a parking pass, public parking is only $5. Buying the right to purchase four basketball season tickets gets you parking in the green lot.
