Now who can argue with that? I think we're all indebted to Gabby Johnson for clearly stating what needed to be said. I'm particulary glad that these lovely children were here today to hear that speech. Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish, it expressed a courage little seen in this day and age.

It is not us because we can't recruit. Roger Lewis was a guy we stayed with through all of his issues and he rejected a program with ten years of consistency of HC and coordinators and no championships and decided to go with a program with a new unproven HC in a program that wins MAC Championships. Says a lot about what folks think of us. We are a fanbase that gets excited to go 6-6 with wins over crap like Kent, Akron, Miami, Buffalo, Idaho, and FCS crap. We will not win a MACC because we except a garbage season like this one and make excuses to justify it. Then, we reference how we are so lucky due to how it use to be, with no vision of how we should want it to be.

I imagine there are some on here that are disappointed that it wasn't Ohio getting steam rolled tonight because the chance to complain about Frank losing FOUR conference title games would have been oh so delicious.

Did you notice that Ohio, without RL gave NIU a much better game than did BGSU. Check out how BG finished, L3, Ohio is trending better. Young folks, is that a correct usage of trending? Ask the NIU coach when he played the best team in the East, he will probably say on Nov 18th on a freezing evening in Athens.

Monroe did you actually watch the MACC game?

I'd like to hear your expert opinion.

Why did NIU blowout BG 51-17?

- Play calling?
- Coaching staff not being able to "get their team up" for the game?
- Half time adjustments?
- QB?
- Not enough running backs in the backfield?
- Field goal kicker?
- Head Coach?
- Offensive coordinator?
- Recruiting?

Or could BG had prevented the blowout loss all together if only their fans had the "vision" to expect more?

Please advise.

I apologize for your bad about expecting you all to recognize what the title of this thread meant.

I forgot that, given we're 15-16 in the last 31, most of you would have forgotten this thing called 'the MAC Championship.'

Get 'em, Bcat2! That BG blew us out and that they at least made it to the MACC is definitely not the point. Heck, that BG got blown out and that we seemed to have fared better against NIU than BG definitely means that we had a stellar season and have to be heavy, heavy favorite for the MAC Championship over all the MAC teams that are clearly better than us. Two things you might want to note though: NIU clearly has a LOT more talent than us and BG next year should have back their true starting qb, who seems clearly the best in MAC by a wide margin.

I'm just happy to be here providing a public service.
