I know a lot of you hate Ohio State, but please keep the team in your thoughts as they deal with the death of a defensive lineman today. Karageorge was found dead Sunday after being reported missing earlier this week. He was a senior who would've been honored at the Michigan game.

I don't like to bring up the "guilt card," but remember how we felt about what happened in April 2011...

Sad news, his family is in my prayers! Kosta went to my high school (Thomas Worthington).

Very, very sad. Condolences to his family.

He apparently had concussion issues, so it could be a contributing factor.

The story broke just before 6:00, and Candice Lee, who anchors Channel 4's newscast, could barely get the words out. Her son is on the team and she may have known him.

I didn't realize the connection. That does make it hit home even more. I know the uncle. Prayers for the family and for the soul of the departed.

I applaud OSU for handling this about as well as it could have been done under the circumstances.

Very sad.

Concussions potential role in this is troubling.

I've seen crazier things happen.

Been a wrestler last three years, 1st year on the football team. Did play football in High School, and was a darn good one!

Yup - and wresting is actually a big sport for concussions.

True, most sports many never think about bring about the dangers of CTE

My nephew, who Jeff Mac might remember meeting at a G&W tailgate about 13 years ago and was a state champion wrestler at Grandview Heights before wrestling at osu, is currently an assistant coach for the osu wrestling team. Kosta was a member of the osu wrestling team for 3 years and only joined the football team this season. Obviously, this has hit him hard. He thinks the investigation might turn up some things not known to the public at this time.

Got to know his uncle Jim while coaching back in the 80s. Talked with Jim last wrestling season about Kosta and he was very proud of him. Never met Kosta but if he was anything like Jim it would have a pleasure getting to know him. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family from the wrestling fraternity.
