Who is AJ's back up ;). But seriously I don't trust daz or brown and Tim is a great leader but not a running back . I think papi should be the change of pace back when he gets healthy . Daz can fill that role for now but he needs to find a warm seat on that bench when papi gets back. I don't love the idea of two true freshman backs as the go to backs but when they are the ones that produce you have to get them in there. Papi is a much faster version of daz

Daz needs to stop fighting for yardage in traffic and just get down when he's wrapped up. He doesn't have the size to move the bigger tacklers and can't hang on when the second or third guy goes after the ball.

You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
Know when to run

Daz carried a pile of Kentucky Wildcats a good 8 yards and the conventional wisdom was the opposite of today's.

I believe this wind will shift again.

+1 That was a very impressive run against UK. He needs to keep two hands on the ball when he's in a crowd.

Is there anything Kenny Rogers can't do?

Other than be sober, I mean.

I know it's probably what we all think when we see Daz, but I wish we could use him like Darren Sproles or Reggie Bush. Heavy in the pass game, occasionally in the slot. He doesn't seem to have the makeup for an up-the-middle back, but could be fun to see in open space.

I agree with that. He's too small to pound between the tackles. Even if fumbling was not a struggle for him that beating would take its toll on him quicker than a more powerful, larger back like OUellette.

I'm sure our ultra creative, innovative OC has cooked up some new plays to put him in space and is just waiting for that golden opportunity to blow the minds of DCs all over the MAC.
