I thought this had already been posted, but apparently it didn't end up on here. Short notice, but a GREAT deal from OUr Alumni and Athletics folks:

The Ohio University Alumni Association and OHIO Athletics have partnered to offer a special fundraising opportunity for our Chapters and Societies and an opportunity for our alumni and friends to return to the Athens for the home football opener against the University of Idaho.

In addition to the game ticket to the home opener, the Ohio University Alumni Association will host a pre-game reception for our alumni participating in this fundraiser in Pepsi TailGreat Park. You will have the opportunity to enjoy food from Kiser's BBQ, an Athens favorite, in addition to non-alcoholic beverages, and the opportunity to meet and reconnect with your fellow alumni. The reception will begin 2 1/2 hours before kickoff. Please continue to visit the registration page for updated start time information.

Take advantage of this excellent opportunity to help your chapter or society raise money and return to Athens to Stand Up and Cheer for OUr Ohio Bobcats!

My hats off to Kiser's BBQ - what a great business. They supported the Fundraiser for Peace every Tuesday last summer in which they gave 5 percent of their profits to the Sammy and Sully Foundation for Peace - a non profit organizations against domestic violence. I have not yet had the pleasure to visit Kiser's, but I hope to when I come home for Homecoming.

They just recently put in a Kiser's Uptown! Easy access after a Cats win!

I just had Kiser's for the first time at a Bobcat wedding a few weeks ago, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed!
