BG had an outstanding defense last year. I never would have expected this. That worked out to about 1.44 inches per play. They beat 1AA Colgate but lost to 1AA Indiana St. They look like they're on their way to 1-3 and will need to win six of their last eight to get bowl eligible (with two 1AAs they'll need to win seven). On another note, Ohio was the only MAC team to score a win vs a 1A OOC opponent this week. With NIU getting pulverized by Arky, it looks like ECU and T'erd are the odds-on favorites to get the big bowl bid for G5 champs this year. ECU looked very impressive vs UNC this week (70-41, and it really wasn't as close as the final score indicated). We will get by. We will get by. We will get by. We will survive.
