O-line and Other Gems

At the start of the season I was most worried about the O-line. We had a plethora of injuries and most of the backups were true freshmen. After last night I must say I feel better about the O-line situation. They had Gibbons listed as a starter but most of the time I saw Pruehs....and Pruehs is a bulldog. At least havin Gibbons listed is encouraging...he's a man mountain from Stone Mountain Ga. Everhart should be back soon and the other 2 true freshman Lowery and McCray look solid...both are road graders.

Other Gems

* When will we ever get more concession stands....lines were crazy.

*Nice havin the college bookstore there...the grandsons got footballs and Rufus stuffed animals.

*Can Poling be a freshman all-american since he's a redshirt?

* I love Tim Edmund but we need another running back to spell AJ and as someone has pointed out he's more of a linebacker.

* Robbie Walker needs to touch the ball....man that kid is fast....they faked some jet sweeps with him but I didn't see em run any.

*Sorry to see Vick go down....he's a dangerous runner....Sprague looks good but man he scares me with some of his floater passes....but he's effective.

*Maleek Irons was listed as playin....think that's a mistake but we need more playmakers.

* Sebastian Smith is the big tall receiver we needed....Cochran and Reid and Cope all have some decent size.

* See ya next week.....my season tickets a tad high up but near the 30 with decent vision.

He ran one early for 8 yds. I thought they tried another one later that was sniffed out but it doesn't show in the box score.
