With all the attention around Irons, I just wanted to mention that this is the best highlight video I've ever seen from an Ohio offensive recruit:

while i liked a lot of what i saw. i have a question as to how he handles being hit. he went untouched on nearly all of those runs. i might have gained yards through some of those holes. he showed nice vision, great acceleration and nifty moves. not sure what level his competition was. he was by far faster than nearly everyone on the field. could be really exciting. i'm not saying he doesn't look awesome.  just wondering how he stacks up against college level defenses before i'm completely sold.

Papi is going to be great.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

I am really excited to see a lot of the recruits in this class. Papi and Maleek are only two of them. The future looks very bright.

I love that we have multiple backs coming in that can play.

At every level of football, the feature back has been fading and a backfield with multiple guys has been on the rise. Spreading around the football helps keeps bodies from wearing down and keeps defense guessing as to where the ball is going.

I was disappointed last year with how Daz was utilized. Was expecting to see him utilized on screens and jet-sweeps to get him in space. Papi reminds me a lot of Daz. If we can have a bigger back like Maleek in the backfield who has the size to handle the wear of tear of 3-4 yards between the tackles and then some smaller speedy guys who have Reggie Bush-like agility on dancing around, you really have something.

I am pumped.

I've seen crazier things happen.

Interesting comment from Tim Edmond in one of today's camp video reports that he's been assigned to be Papi White's mentor. Presumably they're much different styles of runners.

Ya think?

It's still the same playbook, though, and hopefully some of the enthusiasm will wear off. I think he's got a great mentor.

What if TE picks up Papi's moves.....now that would be a sight to see.

Note that the Freshman "RB" recruit that impressed Arkley the most so far isn't White, and isn't Irons, but is Robbie Walker, the RB/APB/Athlete from Gonzaga. He's gotten the least attention on this board, perhaps because he was the first to verbal, and perhaps because he's slated to move to WR. He's expected to play the slot, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him returning punts and/or kickoffs.
