This year's Princeton Review is out and OHIO IS NOT HIGH ON THE LIST!

BUT FIAMI IS (#11).

Hell just froze over.

What is the story here?

Weak recruiting? Bad playcalling? Injuries? Just plain bad luck?

Princeton Review conspiracy against Ohio??

I've seen crazier things happen.

Don't worry, party people, I'll be back for homecoming. Now is the time to start getting your tolerance built back up.

And besides.. Miami is on that list. One less thing we have in common with the Redchickens

You know what Frank Solich likes most about coaching in the MAC? While he gets older, his coaching competition stays the same age, man.

The real O-H-I-O

I blame the conditioning coach.  We need more elbow bending.

Maybe it's a result of TOS to Princeton?

I can't remember which year it was, but Ohio was ranked #2 on the list after being #1 the year before. Some students made t-shirts that said "#2? We'll try harder." We need to incorporate that.

This has forced me to take my diploma from that "other University to the West" out from behind my OU diploma and at least acknowledge that I attended school there. Damn

Good find. That is a head-scratcher. The facilities are nice, but #8 in the country? When we're competing with things like this? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2148214-texas-am-unveils-incredible-new-locker-room-for-football-team?utm_source=foxsports.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=foxsports

The #8 ranking pretty much proves the whole thing is a joke.

Maybe it pertains to the quality of the facilities compared to the budget available per that campus. Either way, yes it is a joke.

Princeton Review rankings are entirely based upon student surveys. So apparently, students think the athletic facilities are better and that they are partying less. I'll take it...

I also seem to recall the party school rankings weighting "greek life" rather heavily...

It's a complete joke. Everything is based on student surveys. It's about as unscientific as you can get, aside from just randomly picking schools out of a hat.

Here's the complete top 20 best athletic facilities, just to show how truly stupid these rankings are.
1. Illinois
2. Macalester College
3. WVU
4. Kenyon College
5. Loyola University Maryland
6. United States Military Academy
7. SMU
8. OHIO
9. Penn State
10. South Carolina
11. Richmond
12. George Mason
13. Grinnell College
14. Louisville
15. Arizona
16. Georgia Tech
17. UAB
18. Bucknell
19. Florida
20. Providence

And here are the "stunning" facilities you can find at the #2 ranked school:

Kennedy: "We must step up crash programs on the ultimate weapon (tailgating)...which will eventually close the party school gap"

Nixon: "As far as the absolute gap is concerned, we find that Ohio is even further ahead than it was twenty years ago. Is this any reason for complacency? Not at all. Because these are determined men. They are fanatical men. And we have to get the very most of uh - out uh - out of our livers."

Keep in mind that these rankings are geared towards prospective students. The athletic facilities in question aren't the facilities for D1 athletes, but the facilities available to students. Considering Ping, a full 18 hole golf course, ample intramural fields, etc. I can see how current students would rank OU highly in this regard.

Still just a 9 Hole course on campus and from what I saw last year one that was deteriorating quickly and needs much attention.

There are a lot of cities and towns of similar size to OU that don't have a golf course; Athens being just one.  So that really shouldn't be a concern.

A #8 ranking in this area, such as it is even, is pretty impressive to me, especially since I spend a fair amount of time tooling around the A&M intramural facilities and they are quite impressive.
