Looks like we are primed for another 7-8 win season and a Bowl Game. Just win baby!

You never can tell.  Last year, we also faced four teams with winning records from the previous season: L'ville (11-2), Kent (11-3); BG (8-5); CMU (7-6).  The remaining 1A teams combined were 21-63 (,250) and we had 1AA Austin Peay, which couldn't hold EIU's jock.  Plus, we were coming off a 9-win season, with a lopsided bowl win.  And still managed only 7-6.  Unless the offense can get things together early in Sept, I think getting seven wins this season will likely be a struggle.

Note that they don't make any distinction between FCS teams. Last year Sagarin ranked EIU as #46, ahead of teams like Boise State, Miami (Fl), Penn State, East Carolina, and Northern Illinois. There is a big gap between them and, say, Nichols State or Duquesne. Had EIU played in the MAC, Sunbelt, or CUSA last year, I think they'd have had a winning record.
