It has been 40 seconds since 2008. It's only 25 seconds when there has been a stoppage in play due to a penalty, turnover, time out, etc.

So, again... we ran twice to get a first down on the last series when three kneel downs would have killed the clock. Why?

Surely our coaching staff knows the rule book.

Do we not want the negative rushing yards? TT does scamper up to the LoS when he takes the snap in the pistol on kneeldowns.
