I like our new look but overall this is starting to remind of the MLB polyester pullover days of the 70's - a sudden universal, inexplicable switch.  If you lived through that you know it didn't end well, did it ChiSox fans?

I'm assuming you don't mean Ohio's uniform reminds you of the White Sox pajama look.  Now Oregon, Maryland etc.....

As for the original article. Not sure how our look qualifies as unique.

There are not degrees of unique. It's either unique or not unique.  Perhaps the headline writer could substitute distinctive.

No, no, not ours and certainly not now, but by the time you realize a good thing has gotten out of hand, it;s usually too late.

I was there through the Veeck era. INsane.....I was the one guy in CHicago that did NOT go to disco demolition night ( you would think every guy of my age in Chicago was there to hear the stories).....missed something special. Veeck was a character.....and Comiskey (dat dere Kaminsky park) was indeed world's largest saloon on game day.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Winter comes and asks how you spent your summer.....

As I recall, he was the first to sell hard liquor at a major league park, and the first to have a family picnic area.  I was thinking about Veeck the other night.  My son's baseball team has a kid who's maybe 4'6"; comes up to the belts of most of the other kids.  Reminds me of Eddie Gaedel:

We will get by.
We will get by.
We will get by.
We will survive.
