Big Jon seeing reps at tackle.  Strum shifted from G to T. Not saying he will but if something happens to Prior Jon would move outside with loads of experience.  Getting so the new OL are going to need loads of patience

Seems like a natural progression. Lechner has the size to play out there and being versatile is huge. The question will be his feet and being able to handle edge pash rushers.
Offensive line may be the least of my concerns after the spring game. I am more concerned with the defensive end spot. They have to be able to get to the quarterback with the front four.

DE shouldn't be a major problem as long as Scott is ready to play this fall after an early injury in the spring. Hastings should do an OK job on the strong side. If the 2 juco's don't pan out then Barber or Bennet or Price or the true freshman Laseak need to come through.

Doc,
I just picture Hasting as a rotational player. I guess I hoped we would see a couple of the young d ends assert themselves in the spring. Scott is a question mark now with the injury and Barber is too light imo to be an every down player. We will see,

I am expecting a new approach.  Last year the DL contained.  This year I expect there to be more attacking up front and Barber might be right-sized for the new look.

Don't like our O turning it over, of course.  But it'd be mighty sweet if we became prominent in take away margin again--big weapon.

Perhaps with a more experienced secondary, we will see this containment turn into more coverage sacks.

Overall, I'm not especially worried with our OL or our DL.
