Well,... I've been waiting for this moment since 1980 and I know many of you have waited much longer.

This is a box that many have tried to check and now it's finally done.

What a huge relief for the fans, the entire football program, the AD, our President, etc.

Decades and decades of fans, players, managers, coaches, trainers, doctors, etc, are feeling quite proud right now.

Thank you for not quitting men!

Very well said, OHIO1985.  I've personally been waiting for this day since Dec. 31, 1962, when we lost our first bowl game to West Texas State (now West Texas A&M) 15-14 in the Sun Bowl.  I was so nervous during that last five minutes that my heart was pounding like I'd run a mile and my palms were sweating like I was a high school kid asking for a date from the most beautiful girl in the class.  And, by the way, I was a senior at Athens High School in 1962 when OHIO played in that first bowl game. All I can say now is that feel like I'm riding on cloud 9.  I'm giddy like a high school kid and an feeling euphoric.  Though I had one and half beers during the game, this is NOT the affect of alcohol!

GO OHIO!

LET'S MAKE A BCS BOWL NEXT YEAR!!!!

Sitting in a bar with my family in Atlanta Georgia. I nearly broke down crying. People at the bar were coming up to me saying congratulations.

This is one of the more prouder moments of my OHIO fandom. Thank you bobcats, thank you seniors. Enjoy the victory and get hungry for more. Never quit!

I wish I could say I was waiting for this day for X amount of years...but I've been only waiting since our bowl game against Marshall two years ago when I first set foot on this campus (as a transfer, unfortunately).  As a graduate, and in a town with almost no Bobcats at all, I was in a bar with no Bobcats to cheer with at all.  The entire place was staring at me as I was pacing for the final minutes, jumping up and down while cursing and cheering.  This day is indescribable.  Finally, MY team for the university that I ATTENDED (my area is huge in O$U bandwagonry) has won a bowl game.  I cannot keep myself from doing the chant of O-H-I-O at the end of our fight song over and over.  It's a great day to be from old OHIO, it's a great day to be an OHIOan.  Let our cheers be heard.  Let everyone hear us, Let everyone know about the green and white.  GO OHIO!!!!  GO BOBCATS!!!!!

The opposing team sucks!

As for my fire the coordinators comment, understand...even  before I was an OHIO fan, I was against the idea of conservative play calling.  My philosophy goes, if you are in a big game then you go big.  We didn't go big and we played conservatively.  What won us this game was our players.  Their heart and their desire won us this game.  They deserve all the thanks and glory.  They are the true winners.  As always, GO OHIO!!!!!

The opposing team sucks!

Well, I'm pleased as punch with this landmark bowl victory!  I was in Dayton watching Ohio defeat Wright State...we kept getting updates every few minutes about the Potato Bowl.  Also, the Nutter Center had the bowl on several TVs.

Our sizeable crowd exploded in cheers when Ohio scored the go-ahead TD.  I'm sure that many Wright State fans were wondering what the heck we were so excited about...yeah, we were dominating the basketball game...but there wasn't anything going on on the court at the time to elicit such a roar.

Go Bobcats!  Saturday was truly a great day to be a Bobcat.
