Holy Crap was my reply also. It hurt so bad to picture us winning the MAC Championship and having it ripped from us. This is the exact opposite. The way Utah State was running the ball, things weren't looking good and I wasn't going to get my hopes up. But we pulled it off and it's just awesome. I think the rest of the weekend I'm going to have these moments of adrenaline rush where I remind myself that Ohio University has won its first bowl game ever! I can't wait to buy my Ohio Bobcats: Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Champions t-shirt! Way to go Cats!

Very, very nice. Especially after the rocky beginning. We had guys banged up the whole game, but the guys hung tough and didn't back down. Great way to finish off the season.

Great pic of Solich getting Gatorade bath on Espn. Also a great win for a school that really deserved it. It wasn't pretty, but they got it done.

Hey I was praying to. In fact I have a real corny prayer that I sometimes say in the middle of a close game. It's been answered affirmatively several times this year. It has to do with asking divine guidance to "win one for the Chrysanthemums," which was the name that the 1897 team adopted according to one newspaper report of the time. I once interviewed the widow of the manager of that team when she was an old lady and I was a young college student. She had a bunch of pictures of the players on that team and a lot of really interesting stories about that early glory year (7-2). That woman, in case you wondered, was Mrs. Charles G. O'Bleness.

Thanks a lot for the link. I had my eye on the actual Potato Bowl website to see if they were going to put shirts up for sale. They might eventually, but they'll probably be expensive. I also checked out another website which had shirts for sale, but after clicking on the link you provided, I'm definitely buying that shirt.

I would like to take credit for this win, after having OU lose every postseason game I had ever attended I abstained this year and we had our closest game in the MACC and we won our Bowl game. Now I just need to find a way for them to play well when I attend the games. :)

I yelled in both agony and ecstacy......agony during the Brazill catch debacle and ecstacy at TT's run.

It's a great day to be a Cat.

On a sour note....a bronx cheer to the Columbus Dispatch for putting us on page 5 of the sports page for the win and for the MAC loss we got the 7 inch high Devastating Loss headline on the front page.
