I have to take back some of my negative remarks about our Bobcats being in this game.

It's a great marketing/PR move, but it's also great that people in need will actually gain something from this game. The estimate of 28,000 to attend seems a bit high, but if it results in more people getting some help...all the better.

I thought it was a great idea when I saw it on the Tater Bowl website. The earlier press release estimated 26,000 so ticket sales may be better than expected. Maybe all the spud farmers will be there now that the crops are in.

This bowl has always had good local support... I only hate it because I can't get there and I think that's how most folks feel. I have no doubt Boise probably puts on a good spread and makes a nice bowl. If we're back there next year, I might be able to make it work, but it's still going to cost 3x as much as going anywhere else. Detroit is fun, but as far as local support for the bowl, it seems to be nil unless a big 13 team is in it.

The Ohio preview guide is sweet as well.

Maybe I'm losing the blahs.....see them leaving by Saturday.....hope they're not back on Sunday.
