Did Albin miss a field goal?  Did Albin drop a pass in the endzone in the 4th quarter?  Did Albin shank a punt?  I didn't seem him on the field for any of those plays, any one of the first two would have won the game for us.

The playcalling was bad in the 2nd half, yes.  But no one, the players included, showed up in the second half.

Left out throwing into double coverage on the opening series of the game.

There is not one person (from head coach on down to someone that stepped on the field for one snap) that should walk out of there not thinking they played a role in this. There is plenty of blame to go around.

It seemed like the players were distracted by something they had read on BobcatAttack.com about back-up QB inside information.

Yes, it's clear we needed to put Vick out there on the field! :-)

Actually I think history shows a crushing loss in the MAC title game doesn't set a program back at all. In 2001, Marshall lost a thriller to Tole_o only to win the next year in another tight game against the Rockets. That heartbreaking loss took an entire two years for Tole_o to overcome with a win over Miami. Akron's miraculous "Hail Mary" win a few years back pretty much vaulted them into a decade-long trip to the bottom of the league. Miami took last year's last-second win to mediocrity. And the loser of both those games, NIU, has been one of the most steady performers throughout and is now MAC champs.

Whats bothers me is you have 1 game left for an under-used Brazill who yes dropped a CIRCUS catch while triple covered. You have 1 game left with Mr Linebacker Noah Keller..I say at least 3-4 years before someone comes along that is similar.

Really, pretty good for a team with only one first team All MAC player.  Yes, Lavon and Noah will be missed, but, Hughes should be back along with a slew of bigger and faster athletes up from the roster.  This team keeps going in thr right direction.  Credit to who ......... for that?

Now, that is funny. The first laugh I've had since 10:30 last night. Thanks, Stunter.

I had to read this three times to understand it. Are you sure you didn't go to Marshall?

Mark Lembright you are spot on.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Obviously I was relaying the atmosphere of all the bobcat students and fans that where in attendance you ass clown. No one felt like the game was secure, several former players even made statements that the coaches would make like a turtle instead of a lion. Direct quote btw.
