This team has shown a lot of character, so it's unfair to single one guy out.  But holy crap this guy deserves some props.

If I could say one word about him, it isn't relentless.  It's fearless.  When his receivers are not open, he's not afraid to tuck it and run.  He only throws it away when he has to (a trait that gives you fits sometimes, but others can get big plays).  Instead of running out of bounds, he turns it upfield for big yards.  When he runs, he doesn't slide when an opponent is 3 yards from him; he will take a hit or dive for those extra yards.  But probably the best part is when he blocks.  Those quick pitches that we seem to run so well- he will block an undefended defensive end, if it's only to step in front of him and slow the guy down.  But did you see him throw himself at the Miami defender when Dunlaps pass play was busted?  Threw himself at the guys legs THROWING SHOULDER FIRST.  Smart?  Probably not, but he will sacrifice himself for his team.

Pardon mon Francais- But the dude is a badass.

Compare 2T's play to m#$@!'s Harwell, for one, and you might find the difference in this game.  We constructed a drinking game around Harwell diving to the the turf on each reception before anyone could hit him.  Not since Franco Harris began running for the sidelines have I seen a guy so afraid of contact.  Big Time Receiver, huh?

Harwell is putting up monster numbers on a weekly basis but he makes Eric Metcalf look like a badass.

Taking dives doesn't show much for the boys that play on Sunday to consider. He was on the canvass more than Jerry Clooney.

He really is! Last year at this time I was saying Ohio didn't have the caliber of young quarterback needed to take Ohio to the next level while it's opponents did-Miami rode the back of QB Austin Bouchert late last year and Troy absolutely lit us up in the New Orleans Bowl with Corey Robinson, both of whom at the time were freshmen. I thought those programs were ahead of us at the QB position. I sure don't think that anymore!! It's clear that Tettleton is the kind of quarterback needed for Ohio to win championships and bowl games and I cannot wait to see where he takes this team in the next two years!

He couldn't avoid it on one play and got rocked.  After that he was running for the sideline before he caught the ball.

Harwell had awesome numbers. And it was unfortunate we couldn't seem to cover him. He's only a Soph. too. Why some of you guys can't give credit to a guy on an opposing team is mind boggling. 14 catches for over 160 yards. So he takes a dive. Can you fault a guy for not wanting to get hurt? And he'll be a thorn in our side the next 2 years.

The coaches have to contantly remind Tettleton that he is a quarterback and is supposed to go out of bounds or slide and avoid hits. He wants to get the extra yards, but he's done a good job of deciding when to avoid contact.

I heard Harwell described as one of those odd fainting goats as soon as he caught the ball.  The irony is that the only aggression he showed all night was a dead-ball, unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.  He can catch the ball, but his run after catch stats had to be close to zero.

Harwell has a lucrative CFL contract he needs to protect, guys. Lay off him.

There was a huge difference between the 2 teams in terms of toughness It wasn't just 1 or 2 guys on Miami taking dives but the whole offense Kid is a a nice receiver but it looked like a sniper got him after every catch.
