While I'd love to beat a reputable team in a bowl game (conference champion or Ohio State), I think I could settle for kicking Marshall's cans twice in one season if it came down to it.

Looks like they might go to the Beef O'Brady's Bowl in St. Pete (if Houston gets a BCS berth) or the New Orleans Bowl.

We are hearing the bowl in St. Petersburg and likely against Pitt, USF or other Big East team.

Might not be Big Least.  St. Pete gets the 6th pick of BL teams and the BL only has four now.  The Pitt-'Cuse winner will make five (with the loser being ineligible for a bowl), so that means either USF will have to win at home vs. WVU (could be, especially if WVU is deflated after the Pitt win) or UConn will have to win at Cincy (doubt it).  Both WVU & Cincy will be playing to tie Louisville for the top spot in the BL, with WVU getting the BCS bid in a 3-way tie (I think) because of the league's tiebreakers.  A 6-6 Big Tedozen team or FIU (8-4) seems likely.

my hats off to Marshall fans, their mood swings are greater than 90% of my ex-girlfriends. after weeks (months) of self loathing and demanding qb changes, coaches changes, etc they're now soaring like they just got asked to play LSU for the whole she-banga-bang. I don't know where they find the energy.

One-hander by I forget who (Dovell?) for a td for us in, I think, first home game.  LaVon's catch and re-catch against, I think, BG.  I like OUr grabs better.

Sounds like you are describing the mood swings on this board.
