1. Why do we go into the prevent?  We stop putting pressure on Dysert and he picks us apart.

2. When Tyler is taking a knee to run out the clock, why would we operate from the shotgun?  Especially when it's raining.

The logic goes that the center and Tettleton haven't snapped from under center all night, so that's less sure than the shotgun snap. I don't necessarily like it. Kind of like I hate rugby style punts. But there is a logic to it.

We should use the TE more; can't cover all our wideouts and running back (if in thepattern)and cover our TE.  The run up the middle to Harden didn't work hardly at all.  As others said, fake that and do something else.

Despite the manic mood swings in the 'in game' thread, consider:  four games in 20 days on national TV and we won them all in entertaining games.  We should have greater talent at d-line and the linebackers next year ('cause we're pretty solid in what we return everywhere else) and the future is bright.  Next year our d-line begins to dominate.

agree with what others have said about mebbe we should try bump and run, not let receivers get off the line of scrimmage so easily

I'll do you one better. Why snap the ball at all when there's 20 or 30 seconds left on the play clock and you can run out the game clock by doing nothing and not risking a bobbled snap in the rain?

The dude behind me was apoplectic (pissed) about this.

Not saying they didn't show guts blitzing twice at the end to win it.

Fiami still had a timeout. I don't know why they didn't use it.

Bump and run requires REALLY fast CBs. I'm not sure that's in our skill set, at least not enough to cover some of the better receivers in the league.

Everyone seems to be concerned about defensive coverage.  Please not that 3 of the four DB's have shoulder injuries.  I think that the coaches felt that they did not want to become to aggressive by these players.  Against NIU/Tol they will have to become very aggressive.  I think that we will have our hands full with either team.
