One thing that some of you have already touched on: the massive importance the next 3 games have for OUr School and this football program.
The more I think about it, this is the 2nd part of what is necessary to be a successful program. If I’m a player, I have to be 100% elated the next 3 games have such weight:
Miami – have to beat your rival. Frank gets an A+
MAC Title Game – just hasn’t been good for us. I have been to each one and the team was either banged up, not motivated and/or not prepared. Now, we played some teams that were better than us but that is no excuse.
Bowl Game – Been to all three games as well. I am still trying to exercise the memories of last year’s beating by the hands of Troy. The loss coupled with the cost to take my family will only be erased by a win this year. Southern Miss Game we were beaten down as well. Marshall Game…I thought we should have won that game but too much team drama going on and mistakes.

The offensive line and Tettleton's leadership will make the difference this time around. I know the defense has it's critics but they are playing some young men that are no longer Freshman.

Let's get it done starting tomorrow night Bobcats!

I think this is a good point. They flashed the graphic during the BG game regarding Solich's record in November at Ohio. He is 15-7 since taking over as coach and 8-1 in the last three seasons. That is a great trait for teams to have.

Now it;s time to improve the December/January record (0-5). Really, the only steps left for Solich to take would be winning the MAC Championship Game (first MAC Championship since 1968) and a Bowl win (first in school history). I think the 2006 squad was a bit ahead of schedule and lacked an offense to compete against CMU/Southern Miss. They were a bit closer to CMU in 2009 and should have beaten Marshall. Not sure what happened last year. But I think this team is positioned well for the MAC Championship and Bowl.
