Watching the games the last couple of weeks, I keep wondering if any of these players have a future on Sundays.  There are a number of players to consider: Neal Huynh, Noah Keller, Matt Weller, Lavon Brazill.  Who has the best chance to be drafted?

I think Keller probably needs a huge MACC and bowl game to make a name for himself and get drafted.

Same for LaVon. All the guy does is produce, but he's never in the conversation when discussing the best MAC receivers this year (usually it's White, Page, and Harwell).

Weller may have a shot at free agency, but his kickoffs aren't always booming and I think would scare off NFL teams.

Hyunh is legit if he stays healthy.

Brazill looks like a late round draft choice, and Keller, Flading, Dunlop, Harden, and Strum are possible free agents.

Guys like Carrie, Weller and Huynh have another year to show what they can do before draft time.

I agree - Dunlop is my sleeper for a possible draft choice. I have a feeling if this guy just gets an invite to a few camps, he's going to make a name for himself very quickly.

Riley sees himself that way, too.  I enjoyed seeing him have a big game last night.

Thanks, too, for the Brain Brennan reference - also a favorite of mine from the Cardiac Kids days.

I could really see Keller becoming a Blake Costanzo type of NFL player. A guy who plays special teams, can be a fill-in guy at linebacker.

3 years from now we read how Bill Belichick gambled on a free agent, former QB turned into a seldom used wide out  and turned him into a star free safety the likes that hasn't been seen in the NFL since the Assassin covered the deeps. Two hundred 28 pounds with 4.6 speed and nastiness.

Neil can't even stay on the field during a MAC game. His bonehead personal foul for removing his helmet was just plain stupid and helped him back to the bench of r a long time. That could have been a game changer in the wrong way. You don't get to play on Sundays for very long doing stuff like that.

I believe all listed above have a legit shot at the NFL, but a team would be crazy not to select Riley Dunlop in the mid to late rounds.  Dude is awesome and clutch.  Every team needs a Riley !

The great mystery of the season...I still cannot fathom why he hasn't seen more touches!  There are still times (especially during post game celebrations) that he just doesn't seem to feel he fits in with the team but I honestly thought the prospect of playing on Sundays would be enough to drive effort during the week.  I really hope he gets some post season attention...He truly seems to care during the games...

Neil Huynh is the real deal... I have a feeling he's going to be one of the first Bobcats who gets drafted and then makes an impact in the NFL.  His speed and quickness is going to be what gets him to the next level.  The helmet thing was dumb... however, the guy did cheap shot him on top of the pile right before then.  I'd assume most of us would have a difficult time controlling our emotions if we'd just missed 6 games due to injury and some punk was hitting us after the whistle...

Neil will dominate at the next level.  He has a lot of drive and works hard.  NFL will over look the helmet think since he doesn't get a lot of penalties.

I remember the pre-season hype about his NFL skills, but there must be something going on to keep him off the field.  He does seem to run a little high to me, but for sure he is not seeing much playing time.

Surprised no one has mentioned Hershey.  Wasn't he listed as a top 10 punter in the country preseason?  A strong finish could get him a FA look.

Hershey has been quite adept at his placement kicks when we've needed them, but he just hasn't displayed an NFL leg this year, distance wise. He's around 80th in the country.

Coming into this week he was 48th, but his one unblocked punt for 25 yards last night will hurt that.  Still, he has 8 punts of 50+ this season.  And get this: 20 of his 40 punts have been downed inside the 20 (one reason why his average isn't super).  I couldn't find NCAA rankings on that, but I'd guess he's pretty high on that list.
