Thought this would be an interesting poll of we, the largely sick in the head Ohio chronics, and certainly am willing to concede that 4-6 are very similar but subtle in their differentiation.  Enjoy!

And for the record, I hate tOSU, and Ricordati and Torgerson are DB's.

I like what you are asking about using donor money to step up the non-conference slate FB/BB slate. Its a good question but the big school politics dictate schedules. Does it make sense to pay Penn State 5 million dollars to move its football game from State College to Athens so we can make 500k at home? The economics for a 1 for 1 series with a BCS school only works for a mid level BCS program. Why not offer to play Maryland 1 for 1 in football but go to College Park in hoops for free in exchange? Ohio offer up deals like that for Louisville, Kansas, Maryland, Indiana. BCS schools aren't going to come to the Convo, there is no leverage for that to happen. Unless Ohio is willing to except a significantly smaller football payday to bring a BCS school in for basketball. Ohio could play Tennessee on the road in football for only 600k, less than the going rate to then have them appear in the Convo during basketball season. Its two FB-BB scheduling approaches then; getting mid level BCS FB teams at home in football by playing them for free on the road in hoops (Louisville, Maryland, Kansas) and getting mid level BCS BB teams in the Convo by playing a football money game on the road for a reduced rate (Tennessee, Michigan, Clemson). Its not a bad strategy to have at least one BCS name in Peden/Convo for selling the season ticket packages. Its time to for the Athletic Department to show the fans it cares.

I'd be very disappointed if the result of this sampling was not overwhelming support for paying more.  The real trick would be getting this commitment from students, a broader slice of alumni, faculty, staff, businesses  and townspeople.

The only way raising those prices will help is if a WHOLE lot more people than us are wiilling to pay.

Put me down as all in but I can't say the same for the other alums that I share my season tix with occasionally.

To illustrate, also note that I'm in on a Blue Jackets season package that I bought based on expectations and promises and like a lot of other fans, I'm about to run away from that investmant and commitment because the product just is't there.  If you make these promises, you have to deliver, too.
