ESPN has Miami and NIU ranked 9 and 10 respectively in the non-AQ top 10 poll and I saw that NIU was either in the top 30 or just about.

NIU finished as #26 in the Coaches and #29 in the AP.
Miami was #31 in the Coaches and #30 in the AP. They finished one spot higher than Florida in both polls. I would have never guessed that after watching them play in Week 1.
