Bobcat Attack MAC Football Media Days

Since we just got through the media days from the conference, time for us to host our own version of this and see what everyone's thoughts are. With that, feel free to project below and go from there:

My Projections

East
1. Ohio
2. Fiami
3. Buffalo
4. Akron
5. Kent State
6. Bowling Green

West
1. Toledo
2. Eastern Michigan
3. Northern Illinois
4. Western Michigan
5. Central Michigan
6. Ball State

MAC Title Game: Ohio over Toledo 35-20

MAC P5 wins: Ohio over Pitt, Toledo over Kentucky, EMU over Illinois, NIU picks off someone

I feel like Eastern Michigan is the team most capable of making noise in the conference if they can piece together the right wins at the right time. Non-league schedule is a bit tough but they are wins they can get. Once again, I believe we have the most talent on paper, but it comes down to winning against Buffalo early and the November stretch.

No other team in the East but Ohio received a first place vote and Ohio is picked to win the MACC. Mark my words, Ohio will win the MACC this year. Book it.

We have Greg Norman'd it a few times here in the last couple of years, I hope we can get by October 5th unscathed. Survived the Beefs, our run gets a lot easier, unless the West Division teams undo our work.

East
1. Ohio 7-1 conference
2. Fiami 5-3
3. Buffalo 4-4
4. Kent St 3-5
5. BG 2-6
6. Akron 1-7

West
1. Toledo 5-3 with tie-breaker advantage
2. EMU 5-3
3. WMU 5-3
4. NIU 5-3
5. Ball St 3-5
6. CMU 3-5

MAC Title Game: Ohio over Toledo 38-28

I'll add one additional forecast. I think Ohio will be favored by at least 7 in every MAC game this year, but I projected them at 7-1 because some game will come when things just go wrong, but I can't guess which one. I only hope it's not the MACC game.

MAC P5 wins: I just don't like this year's schedule, so I'll go with only two this year:
Ohio over Pitt, EMU over Illinois
