For my Dayton-area Bobcat fans:

Join fellow Dayton Bobcats and friends as we cheer on OHIO Football in its Frisco Bowl matchup with San Deigo State on Dec. 19!  The game watch will be held at the Dayton Beer Company’s (DBC) downtown location, with off-street parking available.

DBC is home to more than 30 Ohio craft beer taps, and has food available through 2nd Street Pizza. It's the perfect location for Bobcats to gather to Stand Up and Cheer one final time in the 2018 football season.

We ask that you please take a moment to RSVP, but walk-ups are welcome! If you have questions about this event, please email Greg Fox at foxgw11@sbcglobal.net.

For Columbus area Bobcats, here's the link to the Facebook event for the local gamewatch. The location will be the new version of the Blarney Stone Tavern.

Do you live here? When was the last time you did a sports shuffle? I can't tell you how many times I've been in places like Bdubs and had to ask for an OU game to be put on. I was in Bdubs once talking to a manager who was telling me they support Ohio Athletics and pulled a signed football from behind the bar. I read the signature out loud, Frank Solich, and he said "Who's that?" True story.

Ok, as a bowl game this game may be easier to find but to say it'll be on in every bar in Athens is a big stretch. Apathy is not just the students. And back to my original question, why not have a watch party to gather the faithful in one place?

My son and I may head up to Harry Buffalo in Lakewood. Owner's family members have ties to OU. They've had OU games on in past with sound. They've also had OU watch parties in past. Great bank of TV's. I didn't see anything announced on their web or social media sites, but if we go out for the game, that will probably be our spot.

As far as Athens, Zip will definitely have it on at the Cat's Eye. With sound on a large screen.

I guess it's a good thing for Bobcat fans living in Athens that o$u men's basketball isn't playing during the Frisco Bowl.

Or women's basketball for that matter.

If you are in Athens,

Lucky's, Cats Corner, and Cats eye are all having a watch party from what I could tell on twitter and from taking to some people.

I love that the Harry Buffalo in Lakewood stepped up for OU and the CLE!

My wife dropped me off at the Riverwood (just down from the HB) to meet my son and his millennial entourage. From there it was the West End. (Game on at both locations, but with no sound) Are we getting to the Harry Buffalo by halftime? No.
The Mrs. came and got me and I enjoyed the game at home. The millennials eventually made it to the HB, but not on my time plan. Such is life.
I was young once, like them, so I have no complaints.

Everyone ended up happy because OU won!
