Looks like UAB took some plays from OUs Bahama Bowl last year and stuck it to NIU on the first drive. Can NIU keep pace of UABs scoring? They look like a totally different team than the one we played in a bowl game last year. However, NIU was down by 19 or 20 to Buffalo in the MAC championship game before pulling it out, so don’t sleep on NIU just yet. It's probably going to be another year of when Ohio is the only MAC team to win a bowl. They typically play in these smaller bowl games. Are they the only MAC team that tries in bowl games? It was ruled a fumble through the endzone. It went to a video review, but there was no clear angle of the goal line play. I get that it didn't affect the game's outcome, but... Why is the heck is there NOT a camera at the goal line for a bowl game? Are cameras hard to come by now? There's a camera in everyone's pocket. There's a camera in most cars. There's a camera in kids toys. Why can't there be a camera in the pylon? The angles I saw were not over the goal line and I recall the announcers saying they didn't have a camera exactly on the goal line.
