Not going to define what a "real" Bobcat fan is. That's for you to decide.

I miss miller’s chicken and goodfella’s pizza.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

I'm an oscillating fan. Depending on whether the Cats won or lost their last game.

Does “real fan” mean you continually whine and complain about the performance of your team whether they win or lose? If so, there are some “real fans” on this board.

Hmmm...I sat through the deluge during the Utah State game. I waited out the thunderstorm interruption on a cold and windy day at Kent to be among the few who saw Ohio clinch a division title. Do those qualify me?

I was at both of those games. I'm pretty sure we're real lunatics, also.

I was a freshman at the Utah State game .... when the student section sat behind the opposing bench. My most vivid memory (other than the absurd 5-0 final score) was Utah St having a guy named "BALLS" and him just getting tortured the entire game by OUr student section.

I was at both too! Not sure if it is dedication or craziness. Really thought we were going to score versus Utah St. Oh so close!

We wuz robbed. After Utah State kicked a field goal, the Aggies never again threatened to score. Meanwhile...Our Benny King scooped up a fumble and returned it for a TD. Oops, not so fast. An official ruled that when scooping the fumble one of Benny's knees had brushed the grass. We also had a beautifully thrown TD pass called back because of a holding penalty.

In other words... complain complain complain... No gratitude means more loses.
I guess some people follow bobcats just to continue with their addiction to negativity.

I voted no to account for all the people who voted yes who are lying to themselves.

Great theory, ha!

So if it's rah-rah-rah, hooray-hooray-hooray .... that equals wins?

Sorry ... doesn't work like that.

Literally NOTHING that happens on this message board has any affect on what happens on the field. NADA. Not. A. Damn. Thing.

And please quit with the addiction to negativity. It's a tired, ridiculous thought.

Fact. Ohio hasn't won a MACC in 50 years.

Fact. Ohio has struggled defensively this season ... mightily.

Fact. Ohio blew that game at UC.

Yes ... none of those are positive things .... but they all are factually correct and reality.

Bashing people for discussing them or bringing them up is absurd.

Life is about the good and the bad. You cannot get agitated (hehe ... see what I did there) for people talking about the struggles of this team or this program. It's so short-sighted.

If you disagree ... cool. No worry.

But to call people whiners or complainers or ungrateful or selfish .... that's just silly.

I've said this before ... everyone on here is a "real" Ohio football fan. If they weren't, why in god's name would they be wasting their time seeking out Bobcat Attack and posting message board comments?

I'm a real Bobcat basketball fan by my own opinion. I'm not sure what sort of Ohio football fan I am. I'll go along with squared - "oscillating fan" I guess fits the best.

While I don't always agree with you. And I tend to be more positive. There is no argument with your logic here. I would go as far to say that if one can't see the issues our beloved Bobcats have, then perhaps those aren't the real fans.

Jim Halpert: [Jim sits at his desk, dressed like Dwight] Question, what kind of bear is best?

Dwight Schrute: That's a ridiculous question.

Jim Halpert: False. Black bear.

Dwight Schrute: Well, that's debatable. There are basically two schools of thought.

Jim Halpert: FACT, bears eat beets. Bears, beets, "Battlestar Galactica."

Dwight Schrute: Bears do not... What is going on? What are you doing?
