I can’t complain much since we won, but I had a most disappointing moment. Was it the grounding of Air Canada? Was it a DB or two whose new nickname is toast? Was it the worst officiating since the imaginary safety? None of the above. What happened to game programs? Then, add the fact that Howard had a huge O-line that protected the QB. Add to that the fact that our skill guys WR and DB must be the smallest in D1 football. Then, throw in the comparison to the Howard CB and WR who were BIG, FAST and created SEPARATION. Have to admit I was impressed with their grit and determination. Just glad we ran one kick back and had 4 turnovers or we would have been toast. A long way to go if we want to be Champs! Yes, Rourke was 2/8, with a REALLY bad decision on the 3rd down throw at the goal line. But he shouldn't have been in that position to begin with, and the offense wasn't as bad as his stat line would indicate. We were moving the ball on the ground. "REALLY bad decisions" i.e. fumbles will find you on the sidelines. I assume 7 and 12 were closer through the fall than any of us realize. Was not watching, only listening.
