Bold Predictions 2018:

Toledo Plays Ohio for the MAC Title
Bobcats go 12-1 this year and are in contention for the prestigious Group of 5 Slot in this year's Bowl Lineup
Buffalo goes for 8+ wins this year, but comes up short in MAC Chase
The following jobs open in the MAC due to firing (Akron, BGSUcks, Miami)
The following jobs open in the MAC due to moving up (Toledo, Buffalo)
The following job opens in the MAC due to retirement after having the most epic of epic years (Ohio)
Tom Arth is on the radar to become coach, but Albin becomes coach
More than one Big Ten job opens come off-season (Illinois and mystery job TBD)

College Football Final Four
Washington, Florida State, LSU, Michigan (which means Alabama, Ohio $tate, Clemson, and Georgia do not get in).

LSU wins it all behind an Athens native.....(plus they were going off at 65-1 odds, that's too much of a moneyball bet)

Bold player prediction: Rourke throws for 3000 yards, and rushes for 1000 yards.

Bold team prediction: OHIO will average 42 points per game.

Bold MAC prediction: Fiami folds again, goes 0-12.

Bold national prediction: After Meyer finally returns to OSU, he leads them to a 7-5 record. The "fans" at his support rally from a couple weeks ago revolt, and hold a similar rally to have OSU fire him. Columbus catches fire, all while we continue to drink the green Kool-aid in Athens after OHIO wins their first MACC in over 50 years.

Bold player prediction: Irons rushes for more yards than AJ

Bold team prediction: Final record of 9-3, MAC East champ, lose to Toledo in the MAC championship leading to another year of complaining about how Frank can't win a MAC title

Bold MAC prediction: MAC goes 5-1 in bowl games

Bold national prediction: Michigan State wins the Big Ten and gets a BCS berth

I'm sorry, but that's not a prediction. That's just an astute observation of fact.

No way Akron or Miami fire their coaches. In Akron's case, he had success last year and the school is just plain broke. Just cut 80 majors - including math and PHD programs this week. Enrollment down another 5-7%.

Hence why it is a bold prediction.

Miami probably more realistic if they re-develop that yellow stripe down their leg again.

Not a very bold one, either.

My "bold" prediction regarding Fiami is that investigators discover that EVERY degree from Fiami is a fake.

We will get by.
We will get by.
We will get by.
We will survive.

Bold player prediction: Nathan Rourke MAC offensive POTY
Bold team prediction: Score at least 28 points in every game
Bold MAC prediction: NIU goes undefeated in non-conference games (@Iowa, vs Utah, @Florida State, @BYU)
Bold national prediction: Lane Kiffin bolts for the first halfway decent P5 job that comes open.

Quinton Maxwell comes off the bench for an injured Rourke, engineering the game-winning drive in the MAC championship assisted by a virtually-impossible td catch by Andrew Meyer. ESPN wears the replay out on sportscenter (and I watch every replay)

Julian Ross has a 97 yard rush for a TD. Spotters think it is 98 yards initially but it is eventually officially recorded as 97 yards.

Louie Zervos wins a game with a 50+ yard FG after missing two earlier PAT attempts.

The UMass V Ohio game sets an ncaa record for most yards and points in a regulation NCAA game, with at least one squad surpassing 100 points, likely both. Ouellette threatens the all-time single game rushing record or two Bobcats rush for 200 yards each.

True frosh WR Shane Hooks wins MAC offensive player of the week honors vs Kent State with 3 tds and a bunch of yards

Amos Ogun-Semore wins MAC frosh of the year award or Will Evans finishes in the two-deep on All-MAC teams.

Kent Berger clinches the MAC-East title with a sack/fumble/turnover.

Ohio scores its first TD in the bowl game by a back-up WR going just behind or in front of the Oline on a route across the formation.

De'Vante Mitchell shows us he's here to be a playmaker.

Jamal Hudson intercepts 6 or more passes.

The MAC schools realize you cant move Kaieem Caesar off the ball.

Brett Kitrell finishes in the two-deep on the ALL-MAC teams

Bold Player prediction: Rourke will not be the starting quarterback by season's end.

Bold team prediction: Ohio will be upset by Howard, thus causing diehard Bobcat fans to lose their minds and collectively throw themselves hopelessly into the raging Hocking River; meanwhile, the Bobcats will go on to win the rest of their games, including the MAC Championship.

Bold MAC prediction: the MAC West will beat themselves into complete oblivion with only Northern Illinois left standing once the smoke clears.

Bold National Prediction: the 7 - 5 Buckeyes, as "sjackson110" proposes their record will be by the end of the season, will accept a bowl bid against the Ohio Bobcats. Columbus will not burn, but be sucked into Hell when the Bobcats pull off the upset of the century, thus causing the Earth to turn completely on its Axis and thus make the planet appear Kelly green from Deep Space.

While quite bold, your prediction is too outlandish for reality.
