Durkin coached under Meyer at BG and Florida. This culture seems similar to the former Florida players accounts in the CUM thread.

I recall Durkin being recruited by our staff when he was coming out of Boardman High School.

I was surprised when he chose BG.

Q. "What is 'rhabdo'?"

This part of a word is taken from the ancient Greek language

meaning "rod". It refers to the fact that skeletal muscle

fibers (muscles that attach to sizeable bones) appear to have

striations, or rod-like markings across them.

"Rhabdoid" means "rod-like." Rhabdo - myo (muscle) -sarcoma (cancer of soft

tissues) is a serious cancer arising in skeletal muscle.

"Rhabdo - myo - lysis (dissolving)" refers to the condition under discussion

here; i.e., skeletal muscle fibers disintegrating, or dissolving, while

still in the body from various insults, including elevated body temperature

e.g., heat stroke. The "dissolved" skeletal muscle fibers break down into

substances like myo-globin, which may then be carried to the patient's

kidneys by the bloodstream, and cause kidney failure.

More from WebMD:

What Is Rhabdo?
Rhabdomyolysis is a syndrome involving muscle breakdown and damage. When muscles are injured, they release their contents, including a muscle enzyme, into the bloodstream. The enzyme can harm the kidneys and can cause kidney failure in up to 40% of cases. It also can harm the kidneys’ ability to remove urine and other waste.

Rhabdo can be even more dangerous in children when they're pushed to extremes in sports or other physical activities.

Patients generally recover when they get prompt treatment, but the condition can lead to death in rare cases.
