It must be the delicious cup of coffee I'm drinking (or the upcoming 4 day weekend that's staring me in the face) but I'm more excited about this upcoming recruiting class signing early today than I am about the Bahamas Bowl. I'm not much of a recruiting aficionado but this class seems like it could be special-QB Mischler has me especially intrigued.

Always a great day. Springs new hope. Let's hope these kids can deliver on their 4-5 years here.....a diploma.

Get the diploma, don't do anything stupid, go get the MAC.

Give me those three things and I will consider this a very successful class.

I think my favorite recruit right now is RB Allison. He's not super heralded, but he's got good size at 5'10", 195 lbs., and he's got offers from Army and Navy. Those are two schools who can usually identify pretty good under-the-radar running backs. Plus there's something about his running style I just like--reminds me of my all-time favorite (non-Bobcat) running back, Ricky Watters.

Keye Thompson looks darn good.

Was nervous about Birchette slipping off to somewhere else. Great to see he's on board.

CB John Gregory is the only commit who hasn't signed already. Assuming he does sign, we'll have maybe 2 or 3 open scholarships for February.
