Craziest baseball game I have ever experienced in person. We were struggling the first 7 innings until Fiami's pitchers seemed to forget how to pitch - loudest I have ever heard Wren when Wesley Lug hit that grand slam!

All three games of the series turned out similarly. Ohio could have won or lost all three, but ended up winning two of them.

The Bobcats scored seven times in the eighth inning again in the first game Saturday to erase an 8-3 deficit, but Braxton Kelly couldn't close it out, giving up four runs in the ninth in a 12-10 loss.

Ohio walked it off in 10 innings in the second game on a Patino single to win 8-7. Miami had an early 4-0 lead and then scored three runs in the seventh to tie it after Ohio rallied in front.

The Bobcats (13-5) are second to Kent State (12-3) in the MAC standings. They have the MAC bye week this coming weekend and play Indiana. Then they have series against Kent State and third-place Ball State.

I went to the 1st game Saturday. It was awesome. The Minzey go ahead HR was CHEAP. The crowd literally groaned when he skyed the ball thinking the inning was over and the the ball kept drifting and drifting and was 2 inches from the fence and 1 inch from the LF's glove. There was definitely a healthy breeze out to left. Then the next batter (Sturek) hit an absolute rocket, the exact opposite kind of ball. CF made a strong effort and ran right into the wall and Sturek made it all the way around by about a half inch at home plate. It was really exciting.

Had them down to their last strike a few times in the 9th. Miami did a good job of working the count and wasting good pitches.

College baseball is so underrated. My HS Sophomore loved it.

Have to be pretty happy with where we are at during the bye week, set up really well to make the tourney but tougher opponents lie ahead.
