Wow, what a game in Peden last night! My voice is still on recovery at the moment. Me and couple of my board members and other students helped us take charge of the section and we were solid on the noise throughout the night. We messed with the FAU sideline players for a bit but most of the time was spent jacking up the noise at crucial moments. We had a great "BACK TO FLORIDA" chant when the victory was iced - let FAU also know they came a long way, just to lose. A bit of time before our next home game against Fordham, but all I have to say is WE WANT PENN STATE!

I thought I saw AJ Clayton intermixed with you guys on ESPN's crowd shots.

The chairback rows on that side looked thin. Who gets to sit in those? Didn't look like many student fans. Premium home fan seats? Visitor fans? Recruits? The chair backs can double as third down defense noise makers. I'm telling you, with the FAU bench right there, if I were in close enough ear shot, I sure would have given their kickoff return guy some business for fair catching a kick when they were down big.

I believe he and several of the basketball guys were present. I'm not sure if the chairbacks are meant for us or not, but I did notice those were thin. Man I should have let him know about that! We were chanting random bench player names that were standing up on the bench and their head coaches name. We told their kicker Suarez who missed a field goal warmup to go get the ball in the Sook fan plaza, lol. About took out a few people lined up at the Jackie O's tent. We mainly targeted their long snapper Philip Barbar with various chants all game until he acknowledged us at the end, lol.

Re: middle 3 sections of chair back seats on student side. Those, for the second year are reserved seats for visitor fans. They have let some of our fans there, but if someone comes with a ticket you have to move! It is posted that no students are allowed because students cannot sit directly behind the visitors bench, supposedly a Mac rule.
I have complained, because to me they are the best seats in Peden, but it fell on deaf ears. When the teams switched sides it happened as part of that. Makes for a weak section of fans when shown on tv. Some students do matriculate into that area.

I saw a few of us migrated there over the course of the game. I agree how those are likely the best seats in the entirety of Peden. If I remember correctly there were barely any opposing FAU fans.

That is NOT a supposed MAC rule, that is a MAC rule. We call it the Tom Boeh rule, because he used to get his feelings hurt by the students behind our bench.

Lol, I totally understand why they have the rule. Just stinks to see them not filled.
